Martin Rubio, Little Chute, age 53, died Thursday, April 27, 2017.  He was born in Piedras Negras Coahuila Mexico on May 20, 1963. He was the son of Fortunato and Maria (Espinoza) Rubio.  Martin served in the Army from 1983-1989.  Martin enjoyed photography, horses an avid outdoorsman he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Martin was a talented woodworker and could always be counted on to help his family with their remodeling projects.

Martin is survived by his son, Hunter, Little Chute; father, Fortunato Rubio Sr. ; and siblings:  John Rubio Sr., Madison; Rosa (Miguel) Serrato, Columbus; Mario Rubio, Corinth, TX; Maria (Mike) Krueger, Wisconsin Rapids; Fortunato (Victoria) Rubio Jr., Nazareth, PA; and Margaret Rubio of Madison. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Martin is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Teresa Rubio.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 1, 2017 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until time of Funeral at 7:00 p.m.  Deacon Vincent De Groot will officiate.  Military rites conducted by the Kaukauna V.F.W. Post 3319 will immediately follow.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
