Mark D. Zeegers, Appleton, age 57, was unexpectedly called home by his Lord Jesus Christ early Monday March 7, 2011.He was born December 17, 1953 in Appleton, son of the late Joseph and Elaine ( Gosz) Zeegers. He proudly served his country as member of the U.S. Marine Corps. Mark was clean and sober for 31 years. He worked at Miller Electric until 2009. Mark was an active and enthusiastic member of Calvary Chapel in Appleton. He loved reading his Bible and sharing God's Word.

Mark was deeply loved by his children Joshua (special friend Mary Kay Elsner) of Menasha and Kristin (fiancé Zachary Uvaas and son Talan) of Appleton, and was looking forward to the birth of his granddaughter, Zoë Elizabeth, of expecting daughter Kristin. He was the beloved brother of Robert, Linda (Thomas) Hurley, Jean (Russell) Berggren, Christine (Leon) Schabow, Kathleen (Charles) Spoehr, Jeffrey, Nancy (Cyril) Wimberger, Paula (Todd) Mueller, Matthew (Ann) and Andrew (Shelley). Mark further survived by his friend, Mary Green; the mother of his children Tina Zeegers; his good friend Keith Smith; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mark's life will be celebrated on Friday March 11, 2011. Visitation will be held at CALVARY CHAPEL (2136 E. Newberry St. Appleton) beginning at 9 a.m. until time of funeral at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Dwight Douville will officiate. Military rites conducted by the William Verhagen American Legion Post 60 will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
