Mark S. Zahringer, Sherwood, age 69, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Appleton Medical Center after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on August 15, 1949 to Clarence and Margaret Zahringer and graduated high school from St. Mary's Menasha in 1967 and Fox Valley Technical College in 1969.

Mark spent most of his working life in auto body work. He was a free spirit who was both easy going and generous to those who knew him. He enjoyed playing guitar and his Saturday night jam sessions were an important part of his life. Mark enjoyed fishing and hunting. An annual fishing trip to the Willow Flowage was greatly coveted by him.

Mark will be sadly missed by his brother Ron; father Clarence; as well as niece Melissa and nephews Bill and David Zahringer.

The family would like to thank the staff of ThedaCare Cancer Center for helping Mark through his long struggle with the disease. A special thanks to nurses Cara and Rachel and Dr. Maranis for their compassion and care in Mark's final hours at Appleton Medical Center.
