Obituary

Marilyn F. Spoehr, Appleton, age 77 died Wednesday March 24, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born in Neenah on July 7, 1932 to the late Edward and Irene (Smith) Fisher. Marilyn married James E. Spoehr on December 15, 1951 at First Congregational Church of Shiocton. He preceded her in death February 5, 1958. Marilyn taught for 17 years at Neenah High School until her retirement in 1988, where she also coached tennis. She enjoyed all sports and loved the Packers. Marilyn was a gardener, bird watcher and avid reader. She also cherished time spent with her grandchildren. Marilyn was a very faithful Christian who loved the Lord and her church.
Marilyn is survived by her children: Cindy (Bob) Depies, New Holstein; Doree (Gary) Rung, Denver; Tina Spoehr, Miami; and Heather (Gary) Nobbe, Neenah; grandchildren: Jessica, Nick, Andrew, Sam and Tim Depies and Cassie Rung; sister: Sandy (Tom) Fisher-McKee; and sister-in-law: Umeko Fisher. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her brother, Don Fisher.
Visitation will be held Tuesday March 30, 2010 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral at 12:00 Noon at CALVARY CHAPEL (2136 E. Newberry St. Appleton). Pastor Dwight Douville will officiate. Committal Oak Hill Cemetery.
