Marie A. Haen, New Holstein, age 73, died Saturday, August 26, 2017. She was born in Appleton to the late Arthur and Dorothy (Flenz) Haen. Marie graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1963 and received an Associates Degree from Fox Valley Technical College. She worked for Elm Tree Bakery and Brillion Iron Works for many years.

Marie enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, and many arts and crafts. She especially enjoyed spending time with her niece and nephews, as she was a kid, herself, at heart.

Marie is survived by her siblings: Jim (Bonnie) Haen and Carleen (Jack) Burns; and sisters-in-law: Susanne and Kathy Haen. She is further survived by her niece, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her brothers: Daniel and Bill Haen.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 5:00 p.m. Deacon Steve Vande Hey, of St. Katharine Drexel Parish, will officiate. Committal to St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna will be held at a later date.
