Margarita Elena "Helen" Schelm, Kimberly, age 81, died at her home, surrounded by her LOVING family, on Thursday, April 27, 2023. She was born in Socorro, New Mexico on March 14, 1942, to the late Teodosio and Rosa (LaGrange) Ulibarri. On April 23, 1977, Margarita married Carl Schelm at Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Appleton. Margarita was BLESSED with a GREAT WORK ETHIC and a HEART OF GOLD! She used these traits to care for her patients in the area nursing home she worked at. Margarita was a GIFTED seamstress and loved making Christmas tree skirts, baby blankets and diaper bags. She lovingly patched and repaired countless jeans for all of the hard working men in her life. She also worked as a volunteer for LEAVEN through Zion Lutheran Church.

Margarita is survived by her LOVING, CARING, THOUGHTFUL husband of 46 years, Carl; who has also been an AMAZING step-dad to her children: Deb (Ed) Fischer of Kaukauna and Rich Robinson of Weyauwega; daughter-in-law, Debra Robinson of Appleton; the father of her children Robert (EyVonne) Robinson.

Grandchildren: Travis (Chrissy) Fischer, Eric (Melissa) Fischer, Jacob Fischer (godson), and Angela (Kayla) Fischer; Derek (Bobbi) Robinson, Samantha (Fred) Gorzelitz, Jaclyn (Lucas) Schimmelpfenning, Jesse Robinson, and Riley Robinson (godson).

Great grandchildren: Ambria, Annika and Aliyha (Chad) Fischer; Braylee, Blaklyn, and Braxton Fischer; Rowan and Veda Rusk-Fischer; Jakob and Scarlett; Shaun and Franki Robinson; Harrison and Beckett Gorzelitz; and Parker Schimmelpfenning; also a great-great granddaughter, Lilah.

Siblings: David Ulibarri, Maria Blough, Henry Ulibarri, and Danny (Susan) Ulbarri. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Margarita was preceded in death by her LOVING son David Robinson; and siblings: Anacor, Anthony, Frank, Johnny, Kenneth, Betty, Paul, Lucy, Debbie, and Anita; and in-laws: Al Blough, Eileen Ulbarri, and Theresa Ulibarri.

A private funeral was held. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Margarita's name.
