Lynda L. Rode, Little Chute, passed away at her home on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the age of 74. She was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on December 11, 1951, to the late Richard and Dolores (Pivec) Connors.

Throughout her life, Lynda found joy in the simple pleasures—playing cribbage with friends and family, spending time outdoors, and expressing her creativity through crochet. Her handmade afghans and dish rags were gifts woven with care and warmth, touching the lives of everyone she knew.

Lynda’s heart was full of love for her family. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Michael (Lora) Rode of Little Chute and Jason (Robin) Rode of Avondale, Arizona. Her legacy lives on in her grandchildren — Brandon (Taylor) Rode, Andrew Rode (Sarah Marvin), Kassandra (Joe Martz) Rode, and Kimberly (Lakota) Vaughan — and her great-grandchildren: Layton, Kylo, Carsyn, Jaxsyn, Addilyn, and Jacoby. She is also warmly survived by her sister, Lori (Dale) Smith; sister-in-law, Stacy Connors; as well as nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Lynda was preceded in death by her brother, Rick Connors.

A private family burial was held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton.
