Lucille G. "Lou" Secor, Little Chute, age 92, died Thursday, June 1, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born in De Pere on January 8, 1925 to the late Theodore and Ethel (O'Keefe) Wellens. Lou married Harold Secor on January 17, 1947. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1999. Lou owned the Log Cabin in Little Chute for 7 years. She then worked for Hoffmaster (formerly Tuttle Press) for 33 years. Lou loved to bake and share her treats with her family and friends.
Lou is survived by her children: Carol (Walter) Brietzke of South Carolina; Linda Secor of Appleton; Peggy (Gary) Van Grinsven of Winneconne; Michael (Laurie) Secor of Hollandtown; Pat (special friend Vicki) Secor of Appleton and Scott (Lisa) Secor of Kaukauna; grandchildren: Holly (Dave) Brietzke-DeFrance, Ashley (Ricky) Otto, Todd (Sandy), Matthew, Adam, Tristen and Travis (special friend Alyssa Gilson) Secor; great grandchildren: Riley, Reed, Aleigh, Tyson, Levi, Nevaeh, and a great grandson due any day; sister, Zeta Turriff; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Joe (Judy), Henry (Mary) and Marie Secor. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; grandson, Shane Rasmussen; siblings; Marion (Harold) Dopkins, Norman, Robert, Harold (Lee) and Howard (Arlene) Wellens and Betty (Joe) Sarosiek; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Donald Turriff, Rosie (Richard) Liska, Ruth (George) Koltz, June (Ralph) Wilcox, Betty (Lloyal) Van Straten, Marlene, Anne Marie, George and Walter Secor.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Highland Memorial Park (3131 N. Richmond St. Appleton) from 1:00 p.m. until the time of funeral at 3:00 p.m. Committal Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.Visits: 0
