Lucille A.
Reynebeau
December 26, 1926 – January 20, 2025
Lucille Reynebeau, Little Chute, age 98, passed peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2025. She was born on December 26, 1926 to the late George and Cecelia (Gloudemans) Look. Lucille graduated from St. John High School with her high school sweetheart, Joseph H. Reynebeau. They were married on May 18, 1948 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, where she was a lifelong member. Joe preceded her in death on February 19, 2006 after 58 years of marriage.
Lucille loved her family deeply and was affectionately known as Grandma Joe. She spent a lot of time with the family at Sunday night dinners and at the cottage where she loved the constant activity. She also enjoyed sewing for her children when they were young and knitting hundreds of sweaters for children in Africa. Lucille had a strong Catholic faith and shared it with her children and grandchildren; she especially loved saying the rosary as it brought her so much joy. She hosted rosary groups with her neighbors and held support groups with other widows. Through the Charismatic Renewal, Lucille's life was changed and it greatly influenced her outlook on life, strengthening her commitment to her relationship with our Blessed Mother and the Lord.
Lucille is survived by her children: Louise Van Harpen, Kaukauna; Jessie (Steve) Hietpas, Little Chute; Matt Reynebeau, Appleton; Fr. Tom Reynebeau, Green Bay; Lee (Lisa) Reynebeau, Appleton; and Mary Sanders, Appleton; grandchildren: Wendy (Andy) King, Roy (Erin) Van Harpen, Becky (Matt) Vanden Avond, Mandie (Tim) Wilson, Pete (Heather) Hietpas, Anne Hafner, Charlie (Dani) Hietpas, Joy (Dan) Des Jardins, Heidi (Ryan) Metoxen, Sam (Amanda) Hietpas, Kelyn (Devin) O'Brien, Luke (Mike) Reynebeau, Nathan (Mel) Reynebeau, Leah Sanders, Katie Duncan, Madison (Austin Jablonske) Sanders, 46 great- grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Lois "Butchie" Reynebeau. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Joe, Lucille was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Todd Van Harpen and siblings: Ray (Margaret) Look, Dorothy (Tom) Lamers, and Bob (Mary) Look; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Bernice (Martin) Van Domelen (and her first husband, Lee Schoenke), Rosella (Joe) Look, Orion "Poogie" Reynebeau, Virgil "Butch" (Charlotte) Reynebeau, Florence (Ken) Van Hoof, and Myrtle (George) Roovers.
