Louis V. Torres, Combined Locks, age 68, died Monday, July 2, 2018 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. He was born in Seguin, Texas on September 4, 1949 to the late Louis and Isabel (Villanueva) Torres. Louis married Patricia (Countney) Dietzen on December 1, 1984. He worked at Neenah Foundry for 38 years until his retirement in 2012. Louis loved to fish and dance. He and Pat traveled often taking their grandchildren to Disney World and South Dakota. They also went to Branson and Texas. Louis was a proud grandfather and loved to play with his grandchildren. He will be terribly missed by Pat.
Louis is survived by his wife of 33 years, Pat; daughter, Melissa (Donovan) Nickel; step children: Debra Dietzen, Barbara (Andres Jr.) Cruz, Anne Dietzen and Dennis Dietzen; 3 special grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; siblings: Cruz (Salvadore) Licona, Juan Torres, Pablo Cruz, Dora (Juan) Gonzales, Andres (Martha) Cruz Sr., Mary (Rudy) Juarez and Johnny (Bonnie) Cruz; brothers and sisters-in-law: Frances Torres, Jose Jasso, Daniel Drugan, Paul (Debbie) Countney, Jim Countney, Bill (Nancy) Countney, Susan (Don) Morack, Mary (Jim) Netzler, Kathy (Don) Behnke, Mark (Vicky) Countney, Charles (Barb) Countney and Sandy Lindow. He is further survived by close friends Augie & Diane, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his siblings: Jesse Torres, Julia Jasso, Celestina Drugan, Domino and Santitos. Sister-in-law: Sandy Cruz.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at ST. PAUL PARISH (410 Wallace St. Combined Locks) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Andrew Kysely will officiate. Committal St. Paul Cemetery.
