Obituary

Lorraine C. Daniels, Appleton, age 91, died Thursday December 5, 2013 at the St. Paul Home. She was born on March 2, 1922 in Isaar to the late Arnold and Antoinette (Vander Velden) Van Hammond. Lorraine worked at Simple Simon Bakery for many years and volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul in Appleton.

Lorraine is survived by her children: Sharon (Dan) Merryfield, Wild Rose; Tom (Carol) De Bruin, Crivitz; Bob (Mary) De Bruin, Minneapolis; Karla (Pete) Wallace, Appleton; Gary (Linda Sowers) De Bruin, Appleton; and Jeff (Sharon) De Bruin, Adairsville, GA; grandchildren: Todd (Lisa Hendrix), Troy (Deborah) and Tom (Doreen) Merryfield, Eric (Trisha) De Bruin, Wendy (Brandon) Lotto, Nathan (Amy), Korie and Ben (Gina) De Bruin, Aaron (Kim) Wallace, Megan (Brian) Boelter, Rachel (Caleb) Hutchins, Isral (Joanna Love) and Grant De Bruin; great grandchildren: Tracy, Taylor, Tom, Andrew, Sam, Grace and Rebecca Merryfield, Lauren and Jared Plamann, Jacob, Olivia, William and Braden De Bruin, Christopher and Michael Wesolowski, Noah and Boston Lotto, Nolan, Alayna and Mason Wallace, Noah, Camden, Madelyn and Birk De Bruin, Ezra Hutchins and Vincenzo De Bruin; sister: Mildred Vander Heiden; sister-in-law: Helen De Bruin; and Milton's children: Denny (Pat) Daniels and Judy Rawlings and their families. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl De Bruin and Milton Daniels; grandchildren: Shane Clarke and Michael De Bruin; siblings: Annie, John, Martin (Alice), Harriet, John Joseph and Joseph (Gladys) Van Hammond, Agnes (George) Wydeven, Frances (Joseph) Gerrits and Verna (Tony) Gloudemans; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Lloyd Vander Heiden, Le Roy (Ruth) De Bruin, Lola De Bruin, James De Bruin and Rose Ann (Don) Perry.

Visitation will be held Tuesday Decmeber 10, 2013 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute) from 2:00 p.m. until time of Mass at 5:00 p.m. The Rev. John Bergstadt will officiate. Committal St. Joseph Cemetery. To sign the guest book, please visit oconnellfh.com.
