Lori Rose Dorn, Menasha, age 58 passed away Friday, December 19, 2025 peacefully at home. She was born September 12, 1967 to the late Jim and Darlene (Van Roy) Dorn in Kimberly, where she lived most of her life.

Lori was a dental claims analyst for 11 years at Guardian, where she was beloved by her supervisor and co-workers alike. Lori enjoyed her job because of the people she worked with. Lori had an amazing zest for life with her sweet, sassy, sarcastic, and stubborn personality. Anyone who knew Lori will remember her hilarious eye rolls and her very expressive "judgy" face as well as her amazing sense of humor.

Lori is survived by her daughter, Samantha (Nick) Castillo, Moline Illinois and grandchildren, Harper, Grayson and Leighton Castillo.

Lori is further survived by her loving siblings: Kim (Bert) Zelten, Kewaunee; Chery Dorn, Menasha; Steve (Mary) Dorn, Kimberly; Jim (Wanda) Dorn, Little Chute; Mike (Helen) Dorn, Kimberly and her honorary sister and best friend since diapers, Missy (Chris) Schumacher-Eis. Her uncle, Bernard "Bernie" Van Roy and numerous cousins. Her nieces and nephews: Matt (Leah) Zelten, Adam (Marissa Stenson) Zelten, Jamie (Bill Monroe) Gurrath, Ryan (Coral Wilson) Laha, Alisha (Ken) Sprangers, Benjamin Dorn, Tracy (Mark) Robinson, Matt (Jenna) Treder, Melissa (Brad) Anrdt, Brad Boettcher. Great nieces and nephews: Jordan Zelten; Archer Zelten; Blake Meinders; Ronnie and Tristan Hunt; Rayna, Ryle, Rydly, Ryken and Rayme Sprangers; Corbin Hencley; Evelynn, Isabella, Isaiah and Zeke Treder; Dylan and Koral Robinson and great-great nieces and nephews: Jayda Hunt; Wyatt Meinders; Everett Robinson; Bennett, Charlotte, Luke and Logan Arndt. Lori was preceded in death by her beloved little dog Luke, and is survived by her guinea pig, Louie and her dove, Noah as well as her constant companions; Beau, Chance and Remi.

In addition to her parents, Lori was preceded in death by her grandparents, multiple aunts and uncles, and her cousin Karen.

Visitation will be at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) on January 3, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.  Her Funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Hope Highway dog rescue in Lori's name in honor of her immense love of animals, especially dogs.
