Lois L. Muir, Kaukauna, age 96, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026, with her family at her side.  She was born August 26, 1929, in Brampton, Ontario Canada to the late Richard and Helen (Copp) Peardon.  Lois married the love of her life, William Muir, on December 20, 1947, in Brampton.  He preceded her in death on August 31, 2007, after 59 years of marriage.  Lois and Bill spent much of their lives in the Milwaukee area, where she worked in the restaurant industry.  Upon Bill's retirement, they moved to Green Bay.

Lois was a devoted mother and was always very proud of her children.  She described her greatest joy was simply spending time with family.

Lois is survived by her children: Bill (Carolyn) Muir, Joan (Jerry) Nelson, and Karen Muir.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; son, Richard; daughter-in-law, Debra Muir; parents, Richard and Helen Peardon; brother, Thomas Peardon; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Rose Muir; and sister-in-law, Margaret "Peg" Kelley.

A private service will be held at O'Connell Funeral Home.  She will be buried next to her husband Bill at St. Mary Cemetery in Kaukauna.
