Linda Marie (Hall) Osterberg, 53, of Appleton, Wisconsin, passed away on August 27, 2023.

Linda is survived by her children, Amanda Osterberg (Kenneth Brazil) and Ryan Osterberg; granddaughter, Monica Jean; father, Duane (Judy) Hall; siblings, Duane Hall, Jr., Randy Hall, and Sherry Hall; father-in-law, Ralph Osterberg; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Julie and John Bueter, Sarah and Troy Inman, and Perry Mangum; many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Paul Osterberg; mother, Betty Hall; grandparents, Vervin and Joyce Hall and Fred J., Sr. and Jean Bosteder; mother-in-law, Jean Osterberg; and sister-in-law, Deb Mangum.

Linda was born April 30, 1970 in Holcombe, Wisconsin and was a 1989 graduate of Lake Holcombe High School. She married her soulmate, Paul Osterberg, on September 2, 1994. Together, they ensured their children's childhoods were filled with adventures and an appreciation for the simple joys of life – and lots of family photos, courtesy of Paul. They adored Monica and being her grandparents. Linda never missed the chance to talk about her family with friends, coworkers, and clients. She was very proud of Amanda earning her Associates degree and of Ryan's service in the Wisconsin National Guard.

Linda enjoyed tent camping, TV/movie/game nights, and Packers' game days with family and friends, playing cards, NASCAR, cooking and baking, and celebrating the holidays. Her hand-crafted Christmas presents made family gift exchanges more meaningful. She was proud of her farming heritage and loved animals, especially cows. Her lyrical laugh was infectious.

She was a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant for many years, most recently employed by Helen's House; she was honored with an award for her service from a previous employer, Right at Home. Her compassionate care for individuals in need will leave a lasting legacy.

A celebration of life will be held September 16, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at O'Hauser Park (south) in Fox Crossing.  This will be a Pot Luck so please bring a dish that mom enjoyed making or eating to share.
