Lillian Biese, Kimberly, age 85, died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at ThedaCare Medical Center in Appleton with her family at her side. She was born in Kimberly on August 26, 1932 to the late Joseph and Rose (Cloutier) Vanden Wyngaard. She married Eugene "Geno" Nabbefeld in 1949. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1974. Lillian married Donald Biese at Holy Spirit Parish on June 9, 1983. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards and going on casino trips.
Lillian is survived by her husband, Donald; children: Frank Nabbefeld, Virginia Beach, VA; John Nabbefeld, Combined Locks; Rebecca (John) Connery, Little Chute; Carl (Lorna) Nabbefeld, Kaukauna; Ray (Bonnie) Nabbefeld, Kimberly; Paul Nabbefeld, Kimberly; and James (Brenda) Nabbefeld, Kimberly; grandchildren: Ashley, Ryan and Scott Nabbefeld, Ronald and Peter Gasper, Heather (John) Sexton-Nabbefeld, Hollie (John) Hammen, Heidi (Josh) Hill, Kari (Daniel) Vander Zanden Nabbefeld, Kevin and Benjamin Nabbefeld, Danielle (John) Cops, Mathew Nabbefeld, Jennifer (Brent) Brooks, Patrick Nabbefeld, Amber (Alex) Dassow and Stephanie (Joseph) Williamson; 23 great grandchildren and looking forward to her 24 th (a baby boy) due in August; 3 great great grandchildren; brother, Maureanus (Lola) Vanden Wyngaard; brothers and sisters-in-law: Carmen Laux, Edward (Lenore) Nabbefeld, Jane McCormick, LaVern VanderCorput, Kathleen and Rose Biese; and her precious dog, Mindy. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, and husband Eugene, Lillian was preceded in death by many siblings and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) from 4:00 p.m. until time of Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH – KIMBERLY SITE (620 E. Kimberly Ave. Kimberly) beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Robert Kollath will officiate. Committal Greenlawn Memorial Park.
