Obituary

Leon B. Woodward, Jr., of Appleton, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at the age of 76 from complications of Parkinson's. Leon was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, to the late Leon and Betty (Gates) Woodward, on July 26, 1945. Leon married Suzanne St. Germain at First Baptist Church in West Chester on June 4, 1966. He worked at SSP Tag and Label out of Neenah for 47 years until his retirement in 2010. Leon enjoyed coaching youth sports, bird watching, family time, and watching his Philadelphia Phillies.

Leon is survived by his wife of 55 years, Suzanne; his children: Jamie Woodward of Menasha, and Scott (fiancée Dana Arcaro) of Coatesville, PA; and his grandchildren: Amanda, Brendan, Tyler, Braelyn, Ryan, and Sullivan. He is further survived by his brother, Dave Woodward; and his siblings-in-law: Dennis (Laurel) St. Germain and Barbara Eileen St. Germain; and various nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Leon is preceded in death by his half-brother, Eddie Harrington.

Visitation will be held January 8, 2022, at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St., Little Chute) from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J.
