Lee C.
Foesch
January 23, 1942 – September 20, 2021
Leslie Charles "Lee" Foesch, age 79 of Little Chute, passed away peacefully with his family by his side. An amazing and loving husband, father, grandfather, friend and son, Lee was always willing to lend a hand and was always busy helping others and taking care of something or someone.
Lee was born in Shawano, on January 23, 1942, to Lester and Lucille (Fenske) Foesch. As a child Lee's family would move each summer from town to their cottage that his dad built on Shawano Lake. Lee graduated from Shawano High School and after graduation he went on to Green Bay Technical College and then entered the Navy where he was a Machinist Mate. He enjoyed his time in the Navy as he made many friends and would tell his family stories of the places he traveled and the boat rides and car racing he and his buddies would do whenever they could.
After getting out of the service Lee moved to Milwaukee, to find work. That is where he met the love of his life and future wife, Sharon Lueck. Lee and Sharon met in 1967, and were married the following year, June 15, 1968, in Wisconsin Rapids. Eventually Lee and Sharon moved to the Fox Valley where Lee worked at various shops throughout the area as a tool and die maker.
Lee and Sharon spent many weekends up at the cottage on Shawano Lake which was the place that he loved to be. They were always sharing their time in Shawano with their family and the many friends that Lee had made while he was growing up on the lake. This group was always trying new things with their boats and on their skis, having spent so many years together they even gave themselves the name "The Cement Beach Gang". Eventually the gang began having their own families and still they continued the fun while raising their families together at the lake.
Lee loved spending time with Sharon and his boys, you could always find them at the cottage during the summer, riding the trails on their snowmobiles in the winter, attending a car show or he was planning a trip with Sharon; Lee was always on the go. Eventually Lee would find the other love in his life, his '68 Firebird. He was so proud of his beauty and loved taking it out for a ride and even to a few car shows during the year.
Lee is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon along with their two sons Brian Foesch, Steve (Betsy) Foesch and his grand-daughters Lucy and Ruby Foesch; two sisters in law: Pam Hilke and Cindy Lueck; and a nephew, Chris (Sarah) Lueck.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wayne Foesch; Sharon's parents: Elmer and Caroline Lueck; and his brothers-in-law: Sheldon Lueck and Carl Hilke.
