Laura Jane Finch, Appleton, age 63, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026.  She was born in Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Wayne Fletcher and Betty Romportl.  She split her life between Oklahoma and Wisconsin and had a large extended family.  Laura was a beloved Momma, Mimi, sister, friend, and caregiver.  She loved to spend time with her family and looked forward to her daily chats with her grandchildren.  Laura was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, playing games, and shopping.  She had a wonderful sense of humor, which she proudly wore written on the t-shirts she collected.

Laura is survived by her sons:  James Finch of Duncan, OK; Justin Finch (Amy Davila) of Edmond, OK; and Joshua "Wally" Finch (Amanda) of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren:  Ethan, Lexi, Cody, Kaiden, Nora, Brody, Ransley, Rozlyn, and Beckett; great granddaughter, Everlie; and siblings:  Mary Siddons,  Robert (Tina) Romportl, Carolyn (Scott) Geske, and Paula (Larry) Dassinger.   She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Blane Finch; parents:  Wayne (Shirley) Fletcher and Betty (Bernard) Romportl.

A private family service was held.
