Kayla Renee Smith born March 18th, 2000, went back to the Lord on May 10, 2026.  She was a loving daughter, sister, and friend. Kayla's kindness was contagious (especially giving the neighborhood strays chicken noodle soup). Kayla's strength, compassion, and understanding touched every soul she met. She will also be remembered for her love of art, especially her watercolors and music.

Kayla was welcomed into the arms of her older brother, Bruce.

She is survived by her mother Rachelle and brother Brandon. She is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Kayla was a shining light in our eyes and will be forever missed.
