Kathy E. Steger-Pogrant, Kimberly, age 53, died Saturday April 7, 2012. We know her mom and dad were waiting at heaven's gates to greet her with open arms on this glorious Easter weekend. Kathy was born in Kaukauna to the late Donald and Harriet (Jansen) Steger on May 27, 1958. She worked at Kerlin's Hallmark for 27 years. She enjoyed walking, reading, antiquing, flowers and gardening. Kathy was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. She married the love of her life, Jeff Pogrant, on May 18, 2007.

Kathy is survived by her husband Jeff; stepson Zachary; brothers: Jim (Gerri) Steger, Darboy and Fred (Susie) Steger, Kimberly; mothers-in-law Janet Pogrant and Eileen Pogrant; sisters and brothers-in-law: Robin (Dan) Gavigan, Franksville; Karen Williams, Wausau; Don (Chris) Pogrant, Kaukauna; Michael Pogrant, Manitowoc; Andy Andraschko, Kaukauna; Dan Andraschko, Menasha; and Sara (Andy) Miller, Portland, OR; and nieces and nephews: Sheila (Ross) Van Handel, Mickey (significant other Mechelle) Steger, Ben (Becky) Steger, Candi (Matt) Teske and Amber Steger. She is further survived by numerous great nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her father-in-law William Pogrant; and sister-in-law Laura Andrashko.

Visitation will be held on Sunday April 15, 2012 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (201 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 5:00 p.m. until the time of prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Steve Shepard will officiate. A memorial is being established.
