Kathryn M. "Kay" Lamers, Little Chute, age 78, died Sunday, September 29, 2024. She was born in Little Chute on October 3, 1945, to the late Casey and Josephine (Heinz) Jansen. On August 1, 1964, Kay married Jay Lamers at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute. She enjoyed baking, playing cards and dice games and trips to the casino. She also enjoyed camping with her family and traveling.

Kay is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jay; children: Scott (Barbara Gurican) Lamers, Whitefish Bay; Jenny (Doug) Laffin, Tomahawk; Trish (Craig) Quick, Menasha; and Polly Lamers, Kaukauna; grandchildren:  Kelsey (Kyle) Pieters, Paige (Brandon) Salzman, Grant Van Grinsven, Jack and Maddy Lamers, Connor, Cullen and Cason Quick, Jacob and Claire Gurican; great grandchildren:  Beckett, Brooks, and Bowen Pieters; siblings:  Tom (Anne) Jansen and Sue (Jim) Hermans; brothers and sisters-in-law:  Bob Reffke, Jan (Ron) Hietpas, and Deb Lamers.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Jack, and Kate Lamers; brother, Jack Jansen; sister, Judy Reffke; and brother and sister-in-law: Tom Lamers, Lynn (Doug) Hammen Schroeder.

Visitation will be Friday, October 4, 2024, at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (411 Vandenbroek Street, Little Chute) beginning at 9:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Ronald Belitz officiating.
