Kathrine A. Clancy, Kaukauna, age 55, died Sunday, March 20, 2022 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton after a long battle with cancer.  She was born in Appleton on November 18, 1966, the daughter of Charles and Marilyn (Paltzer) Hegner.  Kat married Gerald Clancy in Appleton on June 26, 1992.  He preceded her in death on October 15, 2010.

Kat was a creative and artistic person and these talents were evident to anyone that visited her home or had a piece of her jewelry from her business, Kat's Beaded Creations.  Her passion was flowers, plants, gardening, and her animals.  Kat enjoyed camping in the outdoors and going for a ride on the motorcycle.  She was a social butterfly that was never alone and loved to be surrounded by family and friends.

Kat is survived by her children:  Kyle Bey of Wrightstown and Kara Bey of Kaukauna; mother, Marilyn Hegner; life partner, Scott Seefeldt; siblings:  Kenneth (Kristy) Hegner, Bruce (Tammy) Hegner, Marty (Crystal) Hegner, and Claire Hegner; father-in-law, Michael (Karen) Clancy, Sr.; and brothers and sisters-in-law:  Sean (Patty) Clancy, Mickey (Connie) Clancy, and Karen (Jill Uitenbroek) Clancy.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her husband Gerry, Kat was preceded in death by her father, Charles Hegner; mother-in-law, Joanne Wegner; and nephew, Noah.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) beginning at 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.  A memorial is being established.
