Kathleen Ann Van Dyke, Darboy, age 74, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. She was born in Appleton on July 2, 1943 to the late Karl and Lavern (Zick) Daniel. Kathleen married Marvin "Butch" Van Dyke on June 5, 1965 at Holy Angels Parish in Darboy. Kathy took great joy in caring for her MANY cats over the years. She fed any cat that set "paw" on the front porch – neighbor cats, stray cats – all were welcome. Taking classes at the Tech years ago, Kathy was an avid knitter. In her closet hung hangers and hangers of her toils. And her grandkids had new mittens every year! She looked forward to wintering down south and watching sunsets. Kathy never missed a fireworks display.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Butch; children: Dawn (fiance Jay Larson) of Neenah and Doug (Kim Riesterer) of Appleton; grandchildren: Dylan, Haley and Kimberly; brother: Fred (Barb) Daniel; and brothers-in-law: Dan (Barb) and Elmer Van Dyke. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law: Virginia and Norbert Hartzheim; sister-in-law: Judy Van Dyke; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Luella and Roy Grissman.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 4, 2017 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 1:30 p.m. until the time of Funeral at 3:30 p.m. Deacon Vincent De Groot will officiate. Committal Highland Memorial Park.
