Karen A. Poudrier-Quella, Appleton, age 47, died Thursday February 25, 2010 as a result of a car accident. She was born on September 20, 1962 in Waterbury, Connecticut to Richard and Judith (Lynes) Poudrier. She married Daniel Quella in 2004. Karen owned and operated K's Play Days child care center in Menasha, where she was very loved by her staff, the children and their parents. She loved to travel, especially to warmer places in the winter.
Karen is survived by her husband Daniel; daughter Danika, at home; parents Richard and Judith Poudrier, Berlin, CT; father and mother-in-law James and Barbara Quella, Neenah; brother-in-law Peter (Patti) Quella, Wild Rose; sister-in-law Jacquelyn (David) Lovejoy, Menasha; special friend Kevin Smitley; niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday March 3, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until time of funeral at 7:00 p.m. at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (201 E. Main St. Little Chute).
