Joy Louise Leonard, Little Chute, age 84, died Sunday, January 10, 2021. She was born in Oshkosh on July 8, 1936 to the late Arthur M. and Betty F. (Gray) Larish. Joy married Donald F. Leonard on March 16, 1996 in Appleton. Joy was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Little Chute.

Joy is survived by her children: Debra (David) Spielbauer, Steven (Dawn) Kussman, Kirk (Julie) Kussman, and Kyle Kussman; grandchildren: April Spielbauer, Denae (Chad) Katalinick, Jamie (Rev. Jonathan) Learman, David A. Spielbauer; Tyler (Jessica) Kussman, Ben Kussman, Brandon Gallagher, Daniel Gallagher; Lance Corporal Slade Kussman, Lily Kussman, Brooke Richart, Logan Richart; and brother, Paul (Maureen) Larish. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, great grandchildren; members of Don's family, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Joy was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; first husband Gene Kussman and brother, Arthur (Phyllis) Larish.

The family would also like to send our sincere appreciation for those who took care of Joy during her last days. The staff at Century Oaks Assisted Living Building #3 and the staff of Heartland Hospice.

Visitation will be held at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 705 E. Greenfield St., Little Chute, WI from 10am until the time of service at 11am on Monday, January 18th, 2021. Pastors Ronald Szep and Dennis Belter will officiate. The visitation and services are open to the public.  A brief Committal service to be held at St. Luke's, immediately following the service.

Joy, a good and faithful servant for our Savior, Jesus Christ, was loved by many. Her name truly fit her and she lived her life with great joy.
