Joseph Jerome Glasheen, Appleton, age 68, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. He was born on July 2, 1948 in Little Chute to the late William and Wilma (Derkes) Glasheen. Following his high school graduation, Joseph served in the U.S. Navy. He worked at the Kimberly Mill until they closed. Joseph then worked at Batteries Plus until his retirement in 2015. He loved camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.

Joseph is survived by his children: Tim Glasheen, Menasha; Ken (Sarah) Glasheen, Negaunee, MI; Connie (Devin) Hogan, Combined Locks; and Lynn Will, Pacific, MO; and siblings: Bob Glasheen, Sue De Bruin, Mike (Kathy) Glasheen, Steve Glasheen and Pat (Ann) Glasheen. He is further survived by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death his brother, Jim Glasheen; sister-in-law, Sharon Glasheen; and son-in-law, Jim Will.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral at 1:00 p.m.   Deacon Vincent De Groot will officiate. Military honors, conducted by the Kaukauna V.F.W. Post 3319 and American Legion Post 41 will immediately follow. Committal Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly.
