Jonathan Michael "Mike" Hanges, Kimberly, age 65, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018. He was born in Appleton on November 22, 1952 to the late John and Geneva (Hopfensperger) Hanges. Mike married Christine Locke on November 18, 1972 at Faith Lutheran Church in Appleton. He served for 8 years in the U.S. Air Force. Mike worked as an Outagamie County 911 dispatcher for 35 years, until his retirement in 2013. He bowled in his younger years and loved Corvettes. Mike also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mike is survived by his wife of 45 years, Chris; children: Joshua (Jaclynn), Jessica (Matthew) Lancaster and Jared, all of Appleton; grandchildren: Shjon, Lain, Kali and Kloie Hanges; and siblings: Linda (Dale) Spoehr, Keith (Mary) Hanges and Tina Hanges. His is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral at 11:00 a.m. Deacon Vincent De Groot will officiate. Military rites, conducted by the Kaukauna V.F.W.
