John ("Jack") Williamson passed away in the arms of his Savior Jesus on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the age of 84 years having lived a full life.

He was born on June 1, 1941 to his loving and wonderful parents John and Ona Willamson.  John happily grew up on a farm alongside his loving older sister Theresa Mae. After graduating from Freedom High School, he received his degree in accounting from Fox Valley Tech.  John worked at Matthew's Tire where he became a successful tire salesman for twenty-four years and then went to Brad Ragan/ Goodyear Tire for another thirteen years before he retired in 1998.

John met the love of his life, Gloria, and they married on August 11, 1964.  He lost his beautiful bride on August 11, 2021 after 57 years of marriage.  Together they raised two precious and loving daughters, Julie (Mike) Dorschner and Kathy (Dave) Kamps; his dear grandchildren, Katie (Jason) Beck, Ronnie Dorschner, Jackie (Matt) Dunn, Heather (Nick) Drott, and Brian Dorschner; and his delightful great grandchildren, Jameson, Kaylee, Sammy, Liam, Danny, Hudson, and Amber. He is further survived by sisters-in-law, Joyce Ebben, and Betty Van Stralen; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ken and Margie VanStralen; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

John is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ona Williamson; his wife, Gloria Williamson; his mother-in-law and father-in-law Albert and Marie Van Stralen; sister and brother-in-law Theresa (Francis) Murphy; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Alice and Romy Meier, Rita and Herman Ciha, Marilyn and Earl Huth, Jim and Marion Van Stralen, Ray Van Stralen and James Ebben; niece, Mary Kay Murphy; and nephew Russel Van Stralen.

Thank you to O'Connell Funeral Home in assisting the family, and to Compassus Hospice and Country Villa Assisted Living. Further thanks to Pastor Adam Bridgman of Faith Lutheran Church for officiating. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
