John M. Hauch, age 78, died at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac on Saturday, April 16, 2022. He was born in West Bend on February 20, 1944 to the late Carl and Sylvia (Hetzel) Hauch. John married Margaret Vallone at St. Martin's UCC in Fillmore, WI on July 19, 1997. He retired from Mercury Marine. John enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and traveling with Marge.

John is survived by his wife of almost 25 years, Marge; children: Julie (Chris) Kohn of Fredonia, Joel Hauch (friend Kathy) of Kenosha; grandchildren: Dakota, Levi, and Jordyn Kohn, and Kolton Hauch; sisters: Rose (Roger) Degnitz and Luella (Harley) Pufahl; and brother-in-law Joe (Joyce) Vallone. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna; father and mother in-law, Joe and Belle Vallone, as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Per John's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A church celebratory service only will be held Saturday, May 7, at 2 p.m. at Bethel United Church of Christ located at N4510 County Hwy K, Fond du Lac, WI.
