Obituary

John F. "Jack" De Bruin, Little Chute, age 84, died Sunday November 29, 2015 at Care Partners of Little Chute. He was born on October 30, 1931, son of the late Joseph and Marie (Welhouse) De Bruin. His father died when he was only 2 years old. Jack went to a one room school house. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a lifetime member of the Kaukauna V.F.W. Post 3319. Jack loved his house trailer and old Country music but his true passion was motorcycles. He bought his first one in 1948 and rode the rest of his life. Jack was a lifetime member of the American Motorcyclist Association. He raced motorcycles and stock cars on dirt tracks in the 1950's and 60's, travelling throughout the Midwest and even as far as Florida and Texas. His sons and grandchildren followed in his footsteps, racing motorcycles and A.T.V.'s, which Jack loved to watch.

Jack is survived by his children: Le Ann (Dennis) Lauer, Kaukauna; Joseph (Lisa), Little Chute; Linda (Harold) Neitzel, Beaver Dam; and Richard, Kaukauna; their mother Lois De Bruin; grandchildren: Annie Lauer, Brad and Lexia Neitzel.
