John Douglas Bartelt, Jr., Green Bay, age 40, passed away July 22, 2026. He was born in Appleton on July 13, 1986, the son of John Bartelt, Sr. and Sandra (Vanden Bloomer) Bartelt.

He is survived by his parents: Sandra (Glenn) and John (Kim); brothers: Brian (Ceora), Tony (Chelsie), and Jason (Dana); and aunts and uncles: Mary, Tom, Terry, Gary, Mike (Linda), Albert (Michelle), Lori, Merlin, Carl, Charles (Tina), and Tom. John is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Kirby and Margarette and Marcella and Doug; and aunts and uncles: Tim, Shelly (Sonny), Gordy, Melvin, and Bill R.; and Bill B., Mike, and Bruce.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Holy Cross Cemetery in Kaukauna. Deacon Steve Vande Hey will officiate.
