John N. Adrian, Little Chute, age 66, died at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton on Monday, October 7, 2024.  He was born in Kaukauna on August 30, 1958, the son of Peter and Lois (Wierschke) Adrian.  While in high school, John worked at the Appleton Post Crescent.  He then went on to work at the Mid Tec Paper Mill in Kimberly.  John was an avid outdoorsman and loved traveling, snowmobiling, four wheeling, kayaking, and riding his Gold Wing.  John took many road trips and went to Michigan often.  He regularly rode his four wheeler to High Falls for ice cream.  John had a passion for his cabin at White Potato Lake.

John is survived by his fiancée, Lyn Gassner of Little Chute; children:  Sarah (Tim Kamprath) Franz of Neenah and Garrett Adrian of Green Bay; grandchildren:  Aaron Tesch, Kassidy Franz, and Kaylie Franz; mother, Lois Adrian; and siblings:  Lee (Frieda) Adrian, Barb (Paul) Grassl, Jim Adrian, and Mark (Kim) Adrian; members of Lyn's family:  her daughter, Jenny Gassner; and her siblings:  Lea (Jeff) Majetich, Sandy (Pat) Romenesko, and Julie (Brian) Ambrosius.  He is further survived by very good friends, Joe and Dawn Van Zeeland; God children:  Mike Adrian and Dylan Daczyk; Garrett's mother, Terri Adrian; loving companions:  Mickey, Mimi, Chief, and Symba; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

John was preceded in death by his father, Peter "Bob" Adrian; grandparents:  Peter and Clara Adrian-Foegen and Harold and Ceil Wierschke; uncles:  Dale Wierschke and Jack Adrian; and special friends, Brad Minten and Tom Skell.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) beginning at 12:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m.  His Funeral will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Deacon David Van Eperen officiating.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center Appleton, especially Amy, Emily, Taylee, and the ThedaCare Hospice nurses.  Also, thank you to John Rudolph for always helping and supporting John.
