Jill M. Wenzel, Sherwood, age 53, died peacefully Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Theda Clark Medical Center of a stroke after a 12 year battle with Huntington's disease. She was born in Two Rivers on December 31, 1962 to Gerald and Sherry (Niquette) Hallada. Jill married Stephen Wenzel at Holy Rosary Parish in New Holstein on May 16, 1987. She loved spending time with family and friends at the family cottage on Pine Lake in Hiles, WI. Jill enjoyed all of the seasons in Wisconsin spending time cross-country skiing, walking in the woods, hunting with her husband, happy hour on the pontoon, campfires at the cottage, a friendly game of dice or cards, and cheering on her Green Bay Packers.

After completing her associate degree in accounting at Lakeshore Technical College, she accepted the position of purchasing agent at MB Company in New Holstein. She moved on to become a senior buyer for Pierce Manufacturing and Oshkosh Truck, where she was most proud of ordering the parts for fire trucks and military equipment.

Jill is survived by her husband of 29 years, Stephen; their son, Ryan; mother, Sherry Hallada; siblings: Julie and John Hallada; father and mother-in-law: Kenneth and Lois Wenzel; brothers and sisters-in-law: Scott (Jayne) Wenzel, Jeff Wenzel, Kathy (Ron) Lefeber and Eric (Kelly) Wenzel; and her dear friends, Cindy (Jan) Hoffmann and Deb (Jay) Gordon. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jill was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Hallada; and brother, Jeffrey Hallada.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 20, 2016 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday at ST. JOHN SACRED HEART PARISH (N369 Military Rd. Sherwood) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Michael Betley will officiate.
