Obituary

Jerome J. "Jerry" Joosten, Neenah, age 62, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 after a lingering illness. He was born in Little Chute on September 24, 1954 to Jerome "Shorty" and Alice (Nichols) Joosten. After high school, Jerry served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Panama. He married Regina Whitcomb on May 13, 1977. She preceded him in death in 2000 after 23 years of marriage. Jerry worked at Gibson's Iron Metal and Auto Salvage for 10 years and Miller Masonry for 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting pool. Jerry loved watching college football, especially the Badgers.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Alice Joosten, Little Chute; siblings: Tom (Sue), Appleton; Carol (Mario) Garcia, Kaukauna; Bill (Ann), Kaukauna; Cyril, Little Chute; and Patty (Dave) Seefeldt, Little Chute; special friend, Patti Prahl; and Patti's children and grandchildren. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife, Gina, Jerry is further preceded in death by his father, Jerome; brother, Bob; and sister, Cathy.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 28, 2016 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until time of Funeral at 6:00 p.m. The Rev.
