(Squier) Hendricks
July 1, 1928 – February 11, 2025
Jean B. (Squier) Hendricks, of Kaukauna, age 96, died Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Care Partners in Neenah. She was born in La Crosse on July 1, 1928 to the late Walter and Mattie (Phillips) Connell. Jean married Daniel G. Squier on November 12, 1946. He preceded her in death in 2001. In 2005, Jean married Henry Hendricks. He preceded her in death in 2019. She enjoyed golfing and volunteer work throughout the community. Jean was an active member of the Masonic order, Eastern Star.
Jean is survived by her children: Wallie Squier, Terry (Sandy) Squier, Bonnie Brink and friend John, Julie (Gary) Fields, Valerie Squier and friend Mike, Stacy (Dave) Boucher; daughter-in-law, Kristine Squier; grandchildren: Shelly Squier, Rick (Colleen) Squier, Jenny Squier, Amy (Tom) Roffers, Matthew Squier, Tammy Smithers, Paul (Allison) Brink, Nicole (Chris) Konop, Jeremy (Kacie) Fell, Daniel (Stephanie) Fields, Samantha (Derrick) Wzislak, Melinda Boucher, Haley Brink, Brittney Fields, Kourtney Fields, Luke Boucher, and Katrina (Rodrigo) Boucher; great grandchildren: Rachel Szekely, Tyler Simonds, Nathan Simonds, Anna Osborn, Kayla Roffers, Spencer Osborn, Dylan Roffers, Carter Jansen, Brayden Brink, Hunter Leichtfuss, Colton Leichtfuss, Aleigha Konop, Kyleigh Konop, Ryleigh Vogel, Keyan Fell, Karsen Fell, Arlie Vaughn, Charlie Fell, Blake Szekely, Miguel Benoit, Liam Fields, Eliana Fields, Lily Fields, Leina Benoit, Amelia Fields, Noah Konop, and Gabriella Konop, with her 25th great grandchild due in March; step children: Donna (Jerry) Smith, Vonnie (Mike) Garvey, Vicki (Joel) Schulz, and Todd (Cindy) Hendricks; step daughter-in-law, Darlene Hendricks; 15 step grandchildren; and 21step great grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husbands, Daniel and Henry; children: Paul Squier, Scott Squier, Hal Squier, and Cheryl Squier; grandson, Bill Squier; daughter-in-law, Laverne Squier; siblings: Myron Connell, Rolland Connell, Spencer Connell, Verlyn Lieder, Clayton Connell, and Walter Connell; step son, Jeffrey Hendricks; step infant daughter, Lynn Ann; and step infant great granddaughter, Mary Smith; and brothers and sisters-in-law: James Squier, Theresa (Joe) Schmidt, Minnie (Pete) Hietpas, Loretta (Les) Diedrich, Inez (Ed) Ebben, Arthur (Martha) Hendricks, Edward (Gladys) Hendricks, Leo (Mary Jane) Hendricks, and Angela (Sylvester) Geurts.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025, at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Her Funeral will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Deacon Gary Vanness officiating. Committal St. Nicholas Cemetery, Freedom. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry (2011 E. Main Street, Little Chute, WI 54140.)
Jean's family would like to thank the staff at Bristol Hospice, especially Beverly, and Brenda and the staff at Care Partners in Neenah for the loving care she received.
