Jean M. Balza, Kaukauna, age 93, died Friday, January 6, 2023 at Care Partners Assisted Living.  She was born in Appleton on August 21, 1929 to the late Harry and Clara (Wolff) Cunningham.  Jean married Richard Balza at St. Therese Parish on October 10, 1953.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, Bridge and Cribbage.

Jean is survived by her husband of 69 years, Richard; sons:  Dan (Deb) Balza of Sherwood, OR and Tom (Mary) Balza of Miami; grandchildren:  Matt, Rachel, and Erin Balza; and great granddaughter, Rowan.  She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her grandson, Jordan Balza; and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH – ST. MARY CHURCH (119 W. 7 ^th Street, Kaukauna) beginning at 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m.  The Rev. Donald Everts will officiate.  Committal Highland Memorial Park.
