Jayne L. Leon, Little Chute, age 77, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, with her family at her side.  She was born in Marinette on January 7, 1948, to the late Thomas and Alice (Bright) Wilson.  Jayne enjoyed tending to her flowers, caring for feral cats, feeding the wildlife and relaxing in the countryside.  When she was not relaxing, she was dancing to her old-time rock n roll.  She also enjoyed riding passenger on the Harley, fishing and playing the slot machines.  She loved cooking and everyone looked forward to her stuffing that only she could perfect for Thanksgiving Dinner and her Christmas Fudge.  Jayne was known to be a caregiver to all – people and animals.

Jayne is survived by her children:  Velvet (Terry) Henrichs, Cypress, TX; Bill (Brenda) Leon, Kaukauna; Michelle Leon (friend Tony), Little Chute; and Terri Ann Vanden Bloomer (friend Dan), Kaukauna; grandchildren:  Amanda (Nick) Schmitt, Brittany Wyman, Whitney (Kevin) Dewhurst, Brandon Feyen, Cassey (friend Bret) and Joshua Delie, Kendra, Tres, and  Trent (Megan) Leon, Jada (Brandon) Micksch, Teaken Leon, Danny Disterhaft (friend Ella), Bryan, Mark (Cynthia) and Jenn Henrichs; great grandchildren:  Michael, Brianna, Ezekiel, Ava, Vitali, Steele, Myla, Wilson, Elijah, Drake, Jaxson, Benson, K.J., and Paxtyn; sisters:  Gloria Kopp, Barb Schmitz, Peggy Witter, and Pamela Wiedemeier;  and brothers:  Thomas Gary (friend Kim), Randall, Ronald, Kendall, and Jeffery (Lori) Wilson and David (Jennifer) Smith.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Jayne was preceded in death by her fiancé, James "Bubba" Barba; sisters:  Diane Wilson and Susan Sander; and her best friend, Beverly Neubert.

Visitation for Jayne will be held at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) on Thursday, December 11, 2025, beginning at 4:00 p.m. and concluding at 6:45 p.m.  Her Funeral will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor TJ Norman officiating.   Committal Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Marinette.

Jayne's family would like to thank Dr. Awe, Becky from TCAH Palliative, Brooke and Erin from IRIS Program, and the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital, for their loving care.  A special thank you to her granddaughter, Amanda Schmitt, for her exemplary, tireless, loving care that gave comfort and peace.

Jayne had a talent for taming bears and raccoons, which made dealing with the rest of us look easy.
