Janice M. Stephens, age 75, died unexpectedly on June 2, 2024. She was born in Wausau, WI on July 6, 1948, to the late Edwin and Lorna (Hartwig) Weller. Janice loved the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. After her retirement, she enjoyed spending time at the Thompson Senior Center and visiting with her friends. Janice's favorite color was purple and she loved Elvis, but her favorite song was "I Can Only Imagine" by MercyMe. However, nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family and being with her grandbabies. Janice had strong faith in Jesus, and her favorite Bible verse was Proverbs 3: 5-6.

Janice will be deeply missed by her two sons: Kevin (Jenifer) Freiburger, of Orlando, FL; and Gary (LeeAnn) Freiburger, of Winona, MN; her five grandchildren: Eden, Zachary, Nathanial, Liliana, and Joseph; and her siblings: Evie (Harvey) Johnson, Audrey (Roger) Flaherty, Jerome (Gloria) Weller, and Sherry Liesch; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Janice is preceded in death by her brother, Everett Weller.

Funeral Visitation for Janice will be held July 6, 2024, at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute, WI) beginning at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at 11:00 a.m. Committal Evergreen Cemetery, Bowler, WI.
