Obituary

Janice L. "Jan" Dennee, of Kaukauna passed away on May 19, 2013 after a 4 year battle with serious illnesses. She was surrounded by her loving family. Jan was born on October 26, 1940 at the family farm in the Town of Vandenbroek. The first of three children born to the late Walter and Johanna (Van Eperen) Diedrick she learned at a young age the many things of farming. She was a 1958 graduate of St. John High School and lived in the Kaukauna area most of her life.

On June 18, 1982 she married Jim Dennee enjoying many wonderful times over their 32 years together. Jan was employed by WE Energies for many years retiring in 1999. She and Jim enjoyed traveling seeing most of the 50 states, Canada, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and Mexico. Jan enjoyed flower gardens, birds, Packer & Badger games, the grandchildren's many activities and getting together with family and friends. She took pride in growing flowers and manicuring bushes. Jan loved spending time at their cottage on Lake Nocquebay and then retiring there for seven years before moving back to Kaukauna.

Jan was an active member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Combined Locks.

She is survived by her husband Jim; sister, Margaret (Russ) Robley; brother, Ron (Sandy) Diedrick; nieces: Stacie (Joe) Ferg and Gina (Steve) O'Brien; nephews: Shane (Jenni) Robley, Brian Robley and Mike (Nicki) Diedrick; her stepchildren: James (Laurie) Dennee, Stacy (Tom) Van Eperen, Michelle (Mitch) Heimlich, Paul (Shani) Dennee; ten grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; and brothers-in-law: Lawrence (Vonnie) Dennee and Daniel (Judy) Dennee.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Lawrence Kowalkowski; Jim's parents, Peter and Bernice (Cartwright) Dennee; and a special nephew Michael Dennee.

Visitation will be held Thursday May 23, 2013 at CHRIST THE KING LUTHERAN CHURCH (601 S. Washington St. Combined Locks) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral at 11:00 a.m. The Rev.
