Janice M. Borchert, age 83, died in Appleton on Friday, March 24, 2023. She was born in Kaukauna to the late Herbert and Ethel (Miller) Dreger on June 12, 1939. Janice married Maynard Borchert on January 26, 1974, and together, they enjoyed 48 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2022. Janice worked as a baker's assistant at Rich's Bakery and enjoyed camping, four-wheeling, fishing, and gardening.

Janice is survived by her children: Alison (Domingo) Ramirez, Alvin (Laurie) Crochet, Neal (Cindy) Borchert, Pat (Dave) Vanden Bloomer, Mike (friend Fran) Borchert, and Steve (friend Linda) Borchert; her grandchildren: Sonya (Jack) Zuelzke, Heather (Shawn) Conrad, Alan Crochet, Darren (Amber) Borchert, Carrie (Kasey) Meyer, Christopher (Angie) Boehnlein, Melissa (Josh) Anderson, Amanda (Jordon) Hereford, Levi Borchert, Logan Borchert, and Hannah Borchert. She is further survived by her great grandchildren: Mikayla, John, Julie, Madi, Misty, Daisy, Lily, Alicia, Addlyn, Jack, Liam, Olivia, and Mariah.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Maynard, and her son, Daniel Crochet.

Visitation for Janice will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Kelso Cemetery in Kaukauna.
