James M. VanToll, Little Chute, age 88, died at his home on Monday, July 29, 2024. He was born in Appleton on July 13, 1936 to the late Peter and Gertrude (VanCuick) VanToll. Jim married Faith Cook at St. Therese Parish, Appleton on December 29, 1956. He worked for Coffey Motors for 18 years and Kaukauna Utilities for 30 years. Jim loved to hunt and fish, a passion he passed on to his children and grandchildren. He cherished time spent with family and friends at the log cabin near Minocqua that his parents built in 1940.
Jim is survived by his wife, Faith; children: Patricia (Gary) Wolfgram, Appleton; Wendy Shreve, Appleton; Michael (Karen Vorachek) VanToll, Freedom; Andrew (Joy) VanToll, Little Chute; and Jess (Johna Scovronski) VanToll, Larsen; daughter-in-law, Heidi VanToll; grandchildren: Adam (Jen) Scheibe, Rebecca (Josh) Salzman, Jenni George, Michael (Melissa Kinncanon) Welhouse, Tiffany Savage, Tanya Hensley, Becky Van Den Eng, and Angela Engel, Bailey and Timber VanToll; Allison (Tanner) Van Asten, Parker Van Toll, Daniel and Cassidy VanToll; 16 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law: Judy (Bill) Hogan, Kathy (Owen) Moe, Linda Priebe, and Richard (Carrie) Cook.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his sons: Tim, Dan, and Carl VanToll; son-in-law, Kendil Shreve; granddaughter, Larissa VanToll; sister-in-law, Melody OverKleeft; and brother-in-law, Ken Priebe.
Visitation will be held August 20, 2024 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (411 Vandenbroek Street, Little Chute) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Ronald Belitz officiating. Committal St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna.
