James F. Cotter, age 79, passed away peacefully at his home in Appleton, which he shared with his wife and soul mate (Margaret Cotter) for 56 years prior to her passing late last year.

Jim was a truck mechanic for many years before retiring and loved to tinker in his garage with various projects.  Dad taught us that anything could be repaired before it needed to be replaced.  From helping fix our bikes when we were little to teaching us how to repair our cars as we grew older, he was always there to help and guide us along the way.

He was always there to help out a friend or neighbor when any one was in need and would do that without any hesitation.  Jim loved to tell a good fishing story or go for a ride to the local casino.  If you were lucky enough to know our Father you were a better person because of him.

Per our Dad's wishes, there will be no memorial, just take some time, say a small prayer and tell your dad you love him.
