James E. "Pimmers" Adams, of Appleton, age 76, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.  He was born on June 13, 1949, to the late James and Agnes (Beyer) Adams.  Jim worked as a key punch operator in the U.S. Air Force.  Following his honorable discharge, he worked for 43 years at Graphic Packaging (previously James River).  Jim enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, camping, browsing, and taking his Jeep on long drives.  His favorite hobby was shooting the breeze with his friends over coffee.

Jim is survived by his children: Jacque Gostas and James Adams, both of Appleton; grandchildren: Christina Lindell and Trent Gostas; siblings:  Jane Schwandt and Kerry Adams; former wife, Judy Wojahn; and restauranteur and friend, Chefo.  He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rhona M. Adams; father, James Adams; mother, Agnes Tackman; and brother-in-law, Barry Schwandt.

Jim loved life, and he loved people. He always made a big entrance,  and made everyone feel like a dear friend. A celebration of Jim's life will take place on April 18, 2026 from 11:00 - 1:30 at Chefo's Pancake House.
