Obituary

Jacqueline "Jackie" F. Ebben, Little Chute, age 90, died Friday, January 1, 2016 at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna. She was born in Kimberly on December 27, 1925 to the late Leonard and Gertrude Hakkert. Jackie married Richard J. Ebben on July 1, 1950.

Jackie treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a green thumb and enjoyed tending her flowers and plants. She liked to bowl, golf and gamble (Just a little). She enjoyed singing in the Resurrection Choir at St. John Catholic Church. At age 75 she took the trip of a lifetime to Holland, where her parents emigrated from.

Jackie is survived by her children, Alice (Dennis) Locy of Pardeeville, Steve (Pat) Ebben of Little Chute, Jane (Ken) Cousins of Appleton and Joe (Shari) Ebben of Little Chute; grandchildren, Heidi (John) Bulgrin, Susan (Steve) Campbell, Sarah (John) Patton, Peter (Kristin) Locy, Levi (Emily Huntze) and Samantha Ebben, Laura (Jared Meidl) and Luke Cousins and Melissa and Leah Ebben; great grandchildren, Dylan and Jackson Locy, Will Patton and Katherine Campbell; step great grandchildren, Amanda Bulgrin and Jordan Campbell; brothers and sisters, Lena (Bob) Polakowski and John (Mary Anne) Hakkert; brothers and sisters in-law, Ken Ebben, Ed (Yvonne) Ebben, Dori Ebben and Mary Ebben. She is further survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick", on November 18, 1992; Dick's parents, Jack and Florence Ebben; sisters, Minnie (Harry) Wulterkens, Chris (Rich) DeCoster; brother, Jake (Johanna) Hakkert; brothers and sisters in-law, Paul Ebben, Gerald (Rita) Ebben, Joan Ebben and Tom Ebben; son in-law, Mark Lappen; and great grandson, Mason Campbell.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church (323 S. Pine St, Little Chute) from 10 am until the time of Funeral Mass at 11 am. Rev. Ronald Belitz will officiate. Committal will take place at St. John Cemetery, Little Chute.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Paul Home and St. Paul Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Jackie's stay.
