Helen Schultz Fischer, Kaukauna, age 54, beloved wife of Gerry, adored mother of Tony and Nick, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. She was born in Green Bay on July 29, 1961 to Edward and Janice (Lemens) Schultz. Helen married Gerard Fischer on September 29, 1983 at St. Joseph Parish in Appleton. She worked as a service associate in the Maternity Ward at Appleton Medical Center until her health forced her retirement in 2016. Helen loved life on two wheels, whether it was a road trip to Sturgis or Tomahawk on the Harley, or zipping around town on her moped.

Helen is survived by her husband of 32 years, Gerry; sons: Tony of Kaukauna and Nick of Little Chute; father, Edward (Arlys) Schultz; siblings: Lynn (Randy) Vargovich, Kathy (Vincent) Hefferen and Edward (Joanna) Schultz; and brother and sister-in-law: Richard (Sharon) Fischer and Mary Ellen (Keith) Szafranski. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Helen was preceded in death by her mother, Janice; and Gerry's parents, Sylvester and Jane Fischer.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral at 1:00 p.m. Deacon Vincent De Groot will officiate.

Helen was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend who gave freely of her time and heart to all who entered her life. Her loving heart made the world better and will long keep her memory alive.
