Harold W. Vanden Boogart, Kimberly, age 93, died Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Kimberly Assisted Living. He was born in Appleton on August 6, 1921 to the late Albert and Sophia (Hopfensperger) Vanden Boogart. In his younger days, Harold played accordion at various clubs with Gene Verstegen. He worked at the Big Shoe Store for many years and retired from Prange's.

Harold is survived by his daughter Nancy White; daughter-in-law Carol Vanden Boogart; and sister Lucille Freund. He is further survived by grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his children: Dennis Vanden Boogart and Shirley Zinda; son-in-law Bill White; and sisters Evelyn (Heini) Jansen and Delores (Arvin) Meltz.

Visitation will be held Sunday May 17, 2015 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 3:00 p.m. until time of funeral at 4:00 p.m. Deacon Vincent De Groot will officiate. Committal Highland Memorial Park.
