Gerlinde E. Huff, Appleton, age 63, died Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. She was born in Aschaffenberg, Germany on November 15, 1955 to the late Hubert and Florentina (Schadler) Heininger. Gerlinde enjoyed fishing, going to casinos, scratch offs, cooking, movies, and animals. She was employed at Lawrence University.

Gerlinde is survived by her longtime love and companion, Todd Srnka; children: Michael (Sandra) Fischer, Stefanie Englert and Kerstin Mueller, all of Aschaffenburg, Germany; grandchildren: Lea Fischer, Kevin Englert and Sonia Mueller; and sister, Gabriele Berndt and fiancé Patrick Clark.

A gathering will be held Saturday, July 27, 2019 in the Pusey Room in the Warch Campus Center at Lawrence University (711 E. Boldt Way, Appleton) beginning with a prayer service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lynn Martin officiating. Visiting will follow until 2:00 p.m.
