Geraldine C. Deininger, Kaukauna, age 83, died at her home on Thursday, August 31, 2017. Gerrie was born in Merrill to the late Martin and Ruth (Dreves) Pankow on October 23, 1933. She married Howard Deininger on May 2, 1953 at St. John Church in Merrill. He preceded her in death in 1998. Gerrie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her family was everything to her. She loved to keep busy and especially enjoyed volunteering at Bethany Lutheran Church and the Thompson Community Center.

Gerrie is survived by her daughters: Patti (Ken) Grissman of Oneida and Peggy Frederickson of Kaukauna; grandchildren: Nicholas (Megan) Frederickson, Kristofer (Lynsey) Grissman, Amanda (Jesse) Noren, and Ashley (fiance Andy Tennessen) Hess; great grandchildren: Marley, Mallory, Nolan, Emery and Casteel; siblings: Ronald (Sharon) Pankow and Judy (Dave) Gruetzmacher; and sister-in-law: Karen Pankow. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Howard, Gerrie was preceded in death by her siblings: John Pankow, Vern Pankow and Esther (Bill) Dicraff.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017 at BETHANY LUTHERAN CHURCH (124 W. 10 ^th St. Kaukauna) beginning at 1:00 p.m. until time of Funeral at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Levi Willms will officiate. Committal Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Gerrie's name.
