Obituary

On October 19, 2023, George Marion Dunham, 58, earned his wings, passing peacefully in his sleep.

George grew up in Clovis, California, and lived in many places before settling in Kimberly, Wisconsin. He was a sweet, kind, and beautiful soul. He brought joy and light to everyone he knew and was an inspiration to many. He was selfless and compassionate and often found time to serve his community, always willing to help others in need.

He served his country in the U.S. Army and graduated from National University with a bachelor's degree in accounting.

He was a very talented drummer and received honors and awards during high school. For the last twelve years, he has been the drummer with the swing band, Neenah Ambassadors. Band members considered him the heart of the band, both musically and emotionally; and the band really swung thanks to him.

He loved his family and friends dearly and will be forever missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Teresa Dunham; and survived by his 5 siblings: Jerry Dunham, Sylvia (Don) Farvour and their 7 adult children and 9 grandchildren, Kathryn Dunham and her daughter Jamie (Johnny) Amador and their 4 children; Matt (Terri) Dunham and their 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren; and Sharon Dunham.

Military Honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at CENTRAL WISCONSIN VETERANS CEMETERY (N2666 County Road QQ, King).
