Genevieve Pynenberg, Little Chute, age 102, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior on March 9, 2014. She was born on July 25, 1911 to the late Jacob and Flora Neuens. After the death of her first husband Tom Walton, Gen married Adrian "Jack" Pynenberg who preceded her in death in June, 1962. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, cooking, and socializing with family members and neighborhood friends. Gen really enjoyed her birthday parties. She was a life long member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258 Auxiliary, Little Chute.

Gen is survived by her stepchildren Bernice Strobel, Marian Schroth, Theresa (Paul) Verhagen, Rosamond Schmitzer and Dan (June) Pynenberg; two grandchildren: Jean (Terry) Winter and Barb (Scott) Patterson; one brother Jake (Dar) Neuens; one sister in law Carol Neuens; and many nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; husbands; daughter and son-in-law Nancy (John) Schreiter; brothers: Clarence (Sophia), Henry, Peter (Maxine), John and Edward; sisters Celia, Leona (Leo)Palmcook and Margaret (John) Huiting; stepchildren and their spouses: Dorothy (Harry) Evers, Norbert (Rosalie) Pynenberg, Melvin Strobel, Raymond Schroth and Wesley Schmitzer.

Visitation will be held Thursday March 20, 2014 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 3:00 p.m. until time of Mass at 5:00 p.m. The Rev. Ronald Belitz will officiate. Committal St. John Cemetery. To sign the guest book, please visit oconnellfh.com.
